You can earn up to a maximum of 30 formative extra credit points per quarter by participating in wiki discussions. You can earn up to 10 points per topic, and topics will change every week to two weeks.
You earn points by posting your thoughts along with supporting reasons and facts.
You earn points whether or not you start a thread, or reply to someone else's posting.
You earn from 1-5 points per post as follows.
5pts- thorough explanation of your opinion that brings outside information to the discussion...and may include links to supporting web articles / features 4pts- three or more line post where you support your reasons and opinions with facts and examples 3pts- three line post expressing your opinion and explaining your reasons 2pts- two line reply expressing your opinion 1pt- one line reply
